Lovejoy Parent (LHS)

I am proud to endorse Aubrey Stock for the Lovejoy ISD School Board.

I had the pleasure of working closely with Aubrey when we served together in  PTO. At that time, Aubrey was the PTO President at Hart Elementary, and I was consistently impressed by her unwavering commitment to the students, staff, and families of our community.

Aubrey’s leadership was both effective and inspiring. She connected with the Hart Elementary board, district leaders, and parent volunteers with ease and genuine care, always putting the needs of the school at the forefront. Her ability to bring people together and foster collaboration was truly remarkable. In recognition of her leadership, we invited Aubrey to join the Council of PTOs as our legislative representative.

In this role, Aubrey skillfully bridged her passion for education with her background in law, effectively advocating for the needs of our students. She led our legislative efforts, working with campus legislative chairs to craft clear, impactful communications to our PTO members about important state education initiatives and the pressing need for better funding support. Aubrey’s ability to make complex issues understandable and rally others to action was instrumental in our success.

I am confident that Aubrey Stock will be an exceptional addition to the Lovejoy ISD School Board. She has demonstrated the vision, integrity, and dedication needed to make informed decisions that benefit all students and staff. Aubrey will continue to put our community’s values at the forefront and serve with the same passion and leadership that she has shown throughout her time in the PTO.

Please join me in supporting Aubrey Stock for Lovejoy ISD School Board.

Lovejoy Parent (Puster)

I know no wiser choice nor better fit for the Lovejoy ISD Board of Trustees candidacy than Aubrey Stock.

She distinguishes herself as one of the most authentic, wise, compassionate, balanced, intelligent, and tempered people I have ever known. Her dedication to advocating for every Lovejoy student, parent, teacher, and staff member at the local and state level exceeds all. Pure love for Lovejoy fuels Aubrey’s leadership and service in PTO and several boards. She leads passionately, on principle, and with pragmatism. Aubrey has attended or listened carefully to Lovejoy ISD board meetings for the last four years. She has gained a wealth of knowledge about school finance, Lovejoy’s curriculum and instruction, past and proposed legislation, and Lovejoy ISD history.

As a mother of five very young children, Aubrey is the only Place 2 candidate whose family will have to live beyond the next decade with the decisions she helps make as she steers the district into the future. However, Aubrey’s bid for Trustee is much more our opportunity than her own. My children, your children, your neighbor’s children, and your grandchildren will thrive in the payout of Aubrey’s selfless investment in Lovejoy’s academic excellence as the Place 2 Trustee.

If you choose Aubrey, you are choosing to be:

Heard. Honored. Represented. Served.

If you vote for Aubrey, you are voting for:

Exceptionalism as a District. Transparency. Traditional Values. Solid Ethics. Fiscal Responsibility.

There is no one better suited to champion the future of our students and our schools than Aubrey Stock.

I am honored to endorse Aubrey Stock for the School Board Position 2. Aubrey brings a unique blend of expertise and passion to the table. She has both a teaching degree and a law degree, and is the dedicated mother of five young Lovejoy Leopards.

I’ve had the privilege of working alongside Aubrey in education advocacy efforts, including visits to the offices of three State Representatives and two Senators, all in pursuit of securing vital funding for our school. Through these experiences, I have seen firsthand Aubrey’s remarkable ability to dive deep into complex issues, advocate fearlessly for what is right, and maintain a calm, thoughtful approach even in the face of pressure.

Aubrey is deeply committed to the Lovejoy community. She has spent countless hours volunteering in her children’s classrooms, on the PTO, and in various other roles, gaining invaluable insight into both the strengths of our amazing teachers and the challenges they face. Aubrey actively seeks out and values diverse perspectives, making her exceptionally well-equipped to represent the interests and needs of all parents on the School Board.

Aubrey’s laser focus on problem-solving, research-driven approach, selfless service to our community and passion for securing the future of Lovejoy have earned her my vote for school board.

I first got to know Aubrey through our service on the Lovejoy Strategic Planning Committee. We ended up on the same sub-committee, and quickly figured out we were like-minded in multiple ways. I saw her creative approach to problem-solving, willingness to speak up and passion for improving the future for her young children and was impressed.

Since then I have watched Aubrey artfully lobby legislators, present detailed, complex information with clarity to PTO leaders and fight for what she believes is right for all our children, even in the face of powerful opposition. I have had lengthy discussions with her on a number of issues, and I’m always impressed by the depth and breadth of her knowledge. Aubrey is a lawyer, a mama bear well-versed in the issues facing our administrators today and just the representative we need to serve our interests on Lovejoy’s Board of Trustees.

I enthusiastically and whole-heartedly endorse Aubrey Stock for Lovejoy ISD school board trustee.

As a fellow Lovejoy mom, Aubrey represents so many of the values and priorities that are important to me and my family. She is deeply committed to the cause of improving our school district and has made that clear in many ways – including serving as PTO President at Hart Elementary, setting up and attending meetings with our local government leaders on the state level, raising awareness of laws and/or policies that directly affect our schools, and serving in many other capacities across the district.

Having 5 young children already in or coming into the district ensures that her commitment to the district is for the long term and for all of the right reasons. I firmly believe that she will be a representative that district members can trust to do the right thing for our children and our community and I’m grateful for her willingness to take on this responsibility.

Aubrey shows her dedication to our district by volunteering time and time again at all levels and intimately knows our community’s unique situation.

Not only is she the most qualified person I can think of for the position, but her perspective as a long-term stakeholder is one that would be greatly beneficial. As a fellow mom of at least one young child who has yet to even begin their public education, I would be extremely grateful to know our school board has a trustee invested in the success of Lovejoy not only now, but in the years to come.

Behind the scenes she has been meeting with representatives and legislators and providing them valid information to fight for our Lovejoy Leopards at the state level. As a parent of two children in the district, I am very grateful she is so passionate about our public schools.

Aubrey Stock is the most qualified individual I know for Lovejoy ISD school board.

I have served on several Lovejoy ISD committees and PTO boards with Aubrey and have seen firsthand her dedication, experience, and knowledge on public schools matters. Her actions prove her commitment for public schools and Lovejoy. Those actions include her traveling to Austin to advocate and meet with elected officials, attending or watching all Lovejoy ISD board meetings, reading and following proposed house bills on public education, and sharing facts on public school funding and other matters pertaining to public schools. This is not an exhaustive list of her dedication and experience.

I also appreciate Aubrey’s attention to detail and natural curiosity to understand issues. Her professional legal experience and background bodes her well in researching, understanding, and relating the complexity of public school matters. I believe these skills to be invaluable for Lovejoy ISD’s school board, especially today.

I fully endorse Aubrey Stock for Lovejoy School Board.

In the years that I have lived in Lucas, I have watched Aubrey juggle a young family (always a baby in the mix) as she has taken a deep dive into volunteering at our schools. Her devotion to bettering our community never fails to impress me as it requires a level of energy and time that most parents are not willing to sacrifice. It’s given me peace of mind to know that someone who has children in the school district is aware of its happenings and can form educated opinions on what areas are successful and what areas need to be rethought. I trust her judgment as a mother and I believe that her experience as a lawyer gives her the unique ability to present a strong case for issues that she’s passionate about. She’s a constant source of information for myself and for other women in the community. When we are lost on school-related issues or need advice, Aubrey is always the first person we turn to. She would be an unmatched advocate for Lovejoy ISD.

Lovejoy Parent (LHS, 2021 Graduate)

Advocating for our schools and our children is the definition of Aubrey Stock.

I have had the privilege of getting to know and volunteer alongside of Aubrey through the Council of PTOs over the past several years.  While our paths would have not normally crossed, PTO has brought together a mom that will soon be graduating out of the District and a mom of young children on the early years of the education trail.  The great thing about PTO and volunteering is that no matter where you are in your life, there is a common denominator…the passion for children to have the best experience in school through their learning, their teachers and their school community.

Aubrey is a dedicated volunteer with a passion for advocating for all of our children.   I have witnessed this first hand with her volunteer work as the past President of Hart PTO and more recently as the Council’s Legislative Chair.   She is not only committed to education but she is also deeply invested in the well-being and success of all of our children.   She has rallied the community when it has come time to voice our concerns to our legislative representatives, she has traveled to the Capitol to speak on behalf of all Lovejoy children, and she has had countless meetings with our representatives drawing attention to public school funding and how our District is hurting because of current mandates.

Aubrey is engaged within our District and her commitment is evident on the variety of committees she actively participates with.  She is passionate and driven.  She is a professional with vision that utilizes her knowledge as a teacher and attorney to advance the difficult conversations that need to be had.  Aubrey is invested in the District and the community, she has integrity and a willingness to speak-up and ask questions, and she is committed to working for the best Lovejoy that all of our children deserve.

I am proud to endorse Aubrey Stock for Lovejoy ISD School Board Trustee Position 2.

Aubrey is the perfect addition to the Lovejoy ISD School Board.

Nelson Mandela once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon, which you can use to change the world.” I firmly believe that Aubrey Stock can change the world with her unwavering commitment to ensuring the education and opportunities we provide in Lovejoy continues to operate at a standard of excellence.  That standard of excellence is one of the greatest gifts we can give our children as they prepare to change the world in their own ways.

When my family moved to the district 5 years ago, we were drawn to Lovejoy’s passion for providing the best educational opportunities to each and every student. In fact, the passion we felt from staff and parents was something we had never felt in a school district before. Aubrey, like other parents, was passionate, but it was her commitment and service to the district that blew me away. Serving under her leadership as PTO President at Hart Elementary, proved to me time and time again what a great leader she is. The way she supported her board allowed each of us to do our positions at a high level thus creating an extremely successful year for the PTO. That year Aubrey was nominated and awarded the highest honor PTO gives, the Outstanding Service Award.

Volunteering on PTO boards is just the tip of the iceberg! Aubrey challenges our state representatives locally and statewide to listen to the voices of the communities they represent, attends all our Lovejoy ISD board meetings, serves on district committees such as Strategic Planning Committee, Capital Planning Committee, and Bond Committee, and is raising 5 of the most well mannered beautiful children. Her background as an educator gives her insight into ways she can support our teachers and her legal background gives her the tools to push lawmakers to do what is best for our students. She makes everyone she speaks with feel heard and valued; it is truly one of her best gifts. She asks the tough questions and is always open to learn everyone’s viewpoint on the challenges we face as district. She continues to demonstrate her knowledge of the issues at hand and will continue to advocate for increased funding not just Lovejoy, but for all public schools in Texas.

Aubrey is invested in Lovejoy’s success and will work tirelessly to ensure our standard of excellence is more than maintained. I would encourage everyone to vote for Aubrey Stock for Lovejoy ISD School Board Position 2!

Hayley Hangartner

Lovejoy Parent (Hart, Sloan Creek)
Hart & Sloan Creek PTO Board Member

I am supporting Aubrey Stock in her candidacy for our Lovejoy ISD School Board.

I have personally worked with Aubrey for the last four years on the Hart PTO and I think she would be a natural and the most incredible advocate for our students & parents. She is dedicated, level-headed and works well with a wide variety of people. She takes the time to do her homework and fully understands the issues she is working on.

One of the things I have always admired about Aubrey is the enormous energy she brings to school issues. She puts her ALL into Lovejoy, from Hart to Sloan to Council, and so much more! Our campuses have gotten used to seeing her turn up regularly in various volunteer capacities. Her admirable knowledge on Lovejoy’s past, present and future endeavors, budget, legislation focus and bond preparation is just the start of Aubrey’s array of qualifications.

In her campaign, Aubrey has been working hard to gather input from parents, teachers and other citizens about what they think is working and what is broken in our schools. She will be very open to input from a wide array of sources if she is elected. As a parent of 5 and all young children, I know Aubrey is especially sensitive to the concerns of parents. She understands the value of public education and she wholeheartedly believes in the foundation it provides for our student’s future. She is a candidate for ALL, not just some.

It is not only a JOY to work with Aubrey, but it is a blessing to know her. She is compassionate, loyal and a dear friend. Even in the midst of her packed schedule, she takes the time to ask you how you are doing. She truly cares about those around her. She prays for you. She prays for our campuses, and she prays for the future of Lovejoy! I can think of no better person leading Lovejoy and helping guide the future of our district.

Megan Rawlins

Former Lovejoy ISD Administrator and Parent

Lovejoy ISD needs Aubrey Stock.

I had the privilege of working alongside Aubrey Stock when she served as Hart Elementary PTO President, and I can confidently say that she is an exceptional candidate for the Lovejoy ISD School Board.

Aubrey has a genuine heart for students and the Lovejoy ISD community. Her deep knowledge, reliability, and dedication to serving others make her the ideal advocate for the future of Lovejoy ISD. Aubrey is already actively involved in the community, and her passion for education will continue to drive positive change for Lovejoy schools.

Cate O'Donnell

Former Lovejoy Teacher (2nd Grade)

I think Aubrey Stock is exactly the type of person we need on the Lovejoy School Board.

For years, she has worked to make our schools better through countless hours of volunteering, fundraising, and advocating for our students, both in Austin and locally. With a background in education, Stock understands the importance of early reading instruction for student outcomes. Witnessing deficits in her children’s early reading experiences at school, she brought her concerns to both their school and the district administration. While many would have given up over the months, if not years, of countless meetings, red tape, and the dismissive attitude of administrators, Stock has persevered to fight for our children. She has shown time and time again that she will do what is best for students.

I can’t help but wonder, given a candidate with a strong background in education, a law degree, a proven commitment to our school district, and a track record of showing great persistence in holding those in power accountable, why would anyone vote for someone else?
