Hello, my name is Aubrey Stock and I am running for Lovejoy ISD Board of Trustees, Position 2.
My husband, Chad, and I moved to Lovejoy in the summer of 2018 and we have five children:
- Madelyn: 5th grader at Sloan Creek Intermediate School
- Russell: 2nd grader at Hart Elementary
- Kate: Kindergartner at Hart Elementary
- Julia: Preschooler at GEM Express
- Rachel: 1 year old at homeschool 😉
Over the past several years, I have been dedicated to learning about Lovejoy, serving our students and teachers, and advocating for our district at the state level:
- I have regularly attended school board meetings over the last four years and participated in multiple campus and district committees.
- I have served for multiple years on multiple PTO boards, in our classrooms, and on the Lovejoy Gifted Association.
- I have sat across from Rep. Candy Noble, Sen. Angela Paxton, and several other legislators to advocate for more funding for Lovejoy.
I pursued each of these different avenues of service because I truly care about Lovejoy’s future and the legacy it leaves behind. I want to work hard to ensure that Lovejoy remains a destination district for both our families with high school seniors today and high school seniors in 2041, like my one-year-old, Rachel.
As a Lovejoy trustee, I hope to be:

My commitment to Lovejoy shows through in the many different roles, committees, and organizations I have participated in.
I have worked tirelessly with other Lovejoy parents to advocate for more funding for our schools at the state level.

My degrees in teaching, law, and motherhood make me uniquely qualified to serve as a trustee.

Aubrey is not just a parent; she’s a champion for our schools. She asks thoughtful questions, seeks solutions, and isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo when it comes to meeting the needs of students and teachers. Her dedication to improving public education, advocating for educators, and amplifying the voices of parents and students sets her apart.

As a mother of five very young children, Aubrey is the only Place 2 candidate whose family will have to live beyond the next decade with the decisions she helps make as she steers the district into the future. However, Aubrey’s bid for Trustee is much more our opportunity than her own. My children, your children, your neighbor’s children, and your grandchildren will thrive in the payout of Aubrey’s selfless investment in Lovejoy’s academic excellence as the Place 2 Trustee.

I am proud to endorse Aubrey Stock for the Lovejoy ISD School Board. I had the pleasure of working closely with Aubrey when we served together in PTO. At that time, Aubrey was the PTO President at Hart Elementary, and I was consistently impressed by her unwavering commitment to the students, staff, and families of our community. Aubrey’s leadership was both effective and inspiring. She connected with the Hart Elementary board, district leaders, and parent volunteers with ease and genuine care, always putting the needs of the school at the forefront. Her ability to bring people together and foster collaboration was truly remarkable.

I've had the privilege of working alongside Aubrey in education advocacy efforts, including visits to the offices of three State Representatives and two Senators, all in pursuit of securing vital funding for our school. Through these experiences, I have seen firsthand Aubrey’s remarkable ability to dive deep into complex issues, advocate fearlessly for what is right, and maintain a calm, thoughtful approach even in the face of pressure.
